Mars Cheng (@marscheng_) is a manager of TXOne Networks PSIRT and threat research team, responsible for coordinating product security and threat research. Mars blends a background and experience in both ICS/SCADA and enterprise cybersecurity systems. Mars has directly contributed to more than ten CVE-IDs, and has had work published in three Science Citation Index (SCI) applied cryptography journals. Before joining TXOne, Cheng was a security engineer at the Taiwan National Center for Cyber Security Technology (NCCST). Mars is a frequent speaker and trainer at several international cyber security conferences such as Black Hat, RSA Conference, DEFCON, SecTor, FIRST, HITB, ICS Cyber Security Conference Asia and USA, HITCON, SINCON, CYBERSEC, and CLOUDSEC. Mars was general coordinator of HITCON (Hacks in Taiwan Conference) PEACE 2022, HITCON 2021 and vice general coordinator of HITCON 2020.

Alan is HITCON CTF team manager. He works in Mediatek. His job is to harden enterprise systems and handle cyber security incidents. He previously job was in a ChungHwa Telecom being a security system architect, planning incident handling procedure for security department and planning cloud services for cloud department.

Chung-Kuan Chen is currently a cybersecurity research director in CyCraft and responds for organizing their research team. He earned his PHD degree of Computer Science and Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University (NCTU). His research focuses on network attack and defense, machine learning, software vulnerability, malware, and program analysis. He tries to utilize machine learning to assist malware analysis and vulnerability discovery, and build automatic attack and defense systems. He has published several academic journals and conference papers and has involved in many large research projects from digital forensics, incident response, and malware analysis. He also dedicates to security education. Founding of NCTU hacker research clubs, he trains students to participate world-class security contests and has experience of participating DEFCON CTF (2016 in HITCON Team and 2018 as coach in BFS team). Besides, he has presented technical presentations in non-academic technique conferences, such as BlackHat, HITCON, RootCon, CodeBlue, FIRST, and VXCON. As an active member in Taiwan security community, he is in the review committee of HITCON conference, and ex-chief of CHROOT - the top private hacker group in Taiwan. He organized BambooFox Team to join some bug bounty projects and discover some CVEs in COTS software and several vulnerabilities in campus websites.

Chen-yu Dai (GD) is leading Threat Intelligence team at Rakuten CERT. Besides incident response and threat hunting roles, he builds in-house systems for Blue Team to deal with emerging cyber threats. He has received some prizes from CTFs, bug bounty programs, and been speaker at several conferences: HITCON, TROOPERS, CODE BLUE, IEEE GCCE, etc.

Wei-Chia Kao (PineApple) is the Cybersecurity Evangelist at CyCraft, who is responsible for the “Cybercans” educational board game project. PineApple has joined multiple communities and was the vice coordinator of HITCON Community 2016. She has worked in various industries including AI, indiegame, and cybersecurity.
Through the combination of her experiences from different fields, she is now dedicated to transforming cybersecurity into something easier and more attractive for people to understand and recognize, while raising public cybersecurity awareness.

Sean Chen is director of the Association of Hackers in Taiwan and worked at Panasonic as leader of Panasonic Cyber Security Lab in Taipei. He manages for Cyber Security Lab and coordinates with headquarters of Panasonic Japan. He focuses on Product security enhancement, Product security assessment management, PSIRT, and IoT security research. Also, he is the general coordinator of HITCON 2020 and 2021.

CyCraft Technology Corporation Co-Founder & CSO / Hacks in Taiwan Committee / SEMI Taiwan Cybersecurity Committee. Tsung Peikan (aka PK), an expert in Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) investigation and research, has extensive experience in intensive computer forensics, malware and exploit analyses, and reverse engineering. PK, specializing in cybercrime and APT investigations, worked for the Taiwan National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior for six years and, later, Academia Sinica for two years. PK then moved to Verint Systems Taiwan as Chief Cyber Researcher until September 2017. He has conducted long-term research on APTs, AIoTs, as well as automotive ECU safety. For the last several years, PK has been the chairman of the Hacks In Taiwan Conference (HITCON) Reviewboard and has spoken at numerous cybersecurity and hacker conferences.

Dexter Chen is a threat researcher at TXOne Network. He is a cyber security enthusiast who likes playing labs, researching vulnerabilities, and exploring various attack techniques. Dexter was also the instructor of several trainings including HITCON training, Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCOE), and Ministry of National Defense.

Hao-Wei is a passionate driver of multinational initiatives in technology and community building for the special interests of cybersecurity and nonprofit entrepreneurship. He founded a Seattle-based nonprofit charity NEX Foundation that aims to connect and support young talents for their better career development. He holds MS in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University, and BS in Computer Science from Fu Jen Catholic University. Hao-Wei founded the early version of the website Hacker.org.tw back in 2004.

Since 2005, the hacks In Taiwan Conference (HITCON) has organized annual conference and also established HIT, a corporate body, to contribute to information security In Taiwan.

HITCON is dedicated to promoting information security. Since 2005, we have started to hold seminars and symposiums to discuss hot issues related to information security worldwide in combination with current affairs, so as to introduce education training courses for professional lecturers at home and abroad, assist governments, enterprises and the public in establishing friendly communication channels and providing training resources, and lead the world in the pulse of information security technology. In recent years, we have set up a public service vulnerability notification platform (ZeroDay), held CTF competition, hacker’s real-world escape the room (HackDoor) and enterprise security attack and defense competition (DEFENSE). We have also supported domestic security communities and worked with the country to cultivate Taiwan's future talents.
